Howdy Yall. Managed to win an auction for a M1097A2 out of Kansas. First time buying with GovPlanet. Wired the money and noticed there was no SF97 or title fee, even though I selected those at checkout. I had to call a few times and get that sorted but only purchased the SF97, other people have mentioned the “title” is basically worthless and a scam. Has anyone on here used just the SF97 to get a road legal title in Wisconsin? Anyone who purchased recently know SF97 wait times?
I see a few for sale on FB marketplace with road legal titles. Hoping to register it with collector plates, so if anyone is familiar with the process in Wisconsin I would appreciate any info.
Ended up shipping through Veritread, they were cheaper than all their bids so we’ll see how that goes.
I was really surprised with my EUC- GP sent me an email stating they submitted mine and were taking up to 60 business days for approval, and then I got notice my EUC was approved the next day haha.
Hopefully this rig isnt too much of a pile, excited to start wrenching.
