So, i've read about doing the hub flip. I'm very interested in doing this. Is there anything special about using the stock rims? Do they, front and back rims, go on like before just with bigger tires ?

I know that you can use the 395's upto 46" diameter. Are there any military non directional tires that are good for this application? The 11.00-20 are only about 2" bigger, the 14.00-20 appear to be too large. I really like the idea of getting a few more mph out of the truck

You can flip the hubs if you want to run singles instead of duals. The rear wheel is mounted dish in like the front. Then the tires track even front to rear. If you want to run 46" tires, you can just got to singles in the rear and run them dish out. That works fine to.
