FMTV questions

I'm looking for a 5 ton FMTV, M1088 or M1083 and have a few questions.

1. Will HEMTT wheels fit properly, I realize they might be twice the thickness at the mounting holes and can change to longer studs if needed. I want to increase the overall width.
2. Do any of the 5 ton MTV's come with a/c. I have enough Caiman parts to pc. a/c together, but would rather buy a truck with it already in.

I do not believe the HEMTT wheels will bolt, they are different.
I do not know of any of the MTV's currently being sold at auction that would have A/C. You can add it though with the proper interior HVAC control box, condensor, A/C dryer and A/C compressor, but will take some custom mounting brackets and lines. We have done a couple of these trucks on a M-1078.

99% time don't have AC but all the parts can be bought to add it.

Well to answer my own question if the 5 ton combat rims would fit. Yes and ran to Jacksonville today and picked up never run, stored inside baby's new shoes.

I should have typed 2004-2008. Maybe late 2004? I don't know how the smiley face got there.

I've only found eight 2004-2007 MTV cargo trucks sold on GP -- only two of those were M1083. Found twenty-five 2004-2007 M1088s, 18 of which were 2004 from CA. I didn't click on all the 2004s to see if they had AC. Appears that the A1R has a black dash and different instrument panel.

However, I just looked at a previously sold 2007 M1088 on GP and did not see an AC. Maybe it was optional?

Don't believe it would ever be a problem.
