Frame Ext twist

I discovered that of the two frame extensions I have for my M54A2,
one of them is slightle bent and I would like to straighten it before
deploying it. Does any one have any tips on how to do this?

I figure I can probably find someone with a heavy duty press, but are
there any precautions, heat treating conditions I need to be aware of?

Thanks for any help on this,
Bruce

clamp it down to a HEAVY peice of iron, put someting under it , right at the twist, with the end sorta sticking up, then go get the BFH, hit it on the upper twisted end, if things are not to bad, you should be able to strighten the extensions

Thanks Ron,
I was hoping that would be the answer. I can't do it right away, but I'll report back when I do
so the next guy will know.
