I'm thinking of making up a set of covers so the front and rear wheels can be disengaged for towing or better fuel economy. The same covers will fit front or rear axles and will make an over the road trip more economical by removing the drive link. Disengaging is easy...just remove the front spline member and the rear axle shaft, then replace them with the cover...about 20 minutes of work. Why travel over the road with the front and (both) rear axles engaged? One can also take the short drive-shaft between the intermediate axle and rear axle off to save even more wear and tear. Please let me know and I'll make a few extra. Toby 574-835-8324.

I'm confused.

Why is this in transportation needs?

What truck is this for?

Are these free? Or is this a classified ad?

I put it here since it is related to transporting. Mine is an M923. I'm making a set for my own use and if anyone is interested, will for others.

No, actually it doesn't belong here. This forum is for transportation NEEDS. (Transporting items from one location to another) You'll need to list a classified ad to sell something.
