Im wondering if anyone has purchased the 2 front brake hoses (one with spring and the one without) on a 939 truck through napa. I looked on the quick reference sheet and saw a o'riley listing to use only in a pinch. ive found them on Oshkosh Equipment but I ask about napa because the shop I work at gets napa parts at cost and when I ask napa about parts on this truck they typically dont have a clue. When asking them is there another over the road truck that would have used the same hose that would be more common I could ask them about?

Just make your own.

Any heavy truck dealer has the proper air hose and SAE reusable fittings. When I worked for Western star/Freightliner we used 1/2" rubber, steel braided Aeroquip air hose and their reusable SAE teflon fittings.

Cut the hose to length, install fittings and away you go.

Both are available on eBay as new surplus for cheaper than you can get them made, and they'll ship to your door. The surplus hoses will come with the proper spring guarding which is the other reason I went this route. I just bought both pairs last Friday.
