fuel filter gaskets

just got my wix filters for my m35a2. the gaskets don't seem to fit right. does not look like it had gaskets in the first place. does anybody know the answer to this? did a search but nothing. do i needto get different gaskets... thanks

Cut and Paste from Jatonka....
Primary gasket # 5131 is the Napa gasket for the primary base, or you can get WIX #15131 which is exactly the same gasket. It is just plain true, I buy these 100 at a time a couple of times a year. I wish I could be close to all of you so I could just hand them to you when you need them. Try a WIX distributor, they make the Napa stuff anyway. Or, keep using that other # that comes with the 3512s as long as it works . napa 5070 is the correct gasket for secondary/final filters
