I wouldn't worry to much about it. If I understand correctly, the washer and nut that hold the strainer on is what you are looking for. Just use any washer and nut to replace because all you want is the strainer to be snug. Then the canister fits over everything.

Not quite sure what you are asking............On my MEP generators there is a nut and a steel washer and a "rubber" sealing washer on the bottom of each fuel filter canister. If the "rubber" washer is missing, I think the fuel canister will leak. I don't know where to get one, but I think you can make one out of some "rubber" gasket material.
