While I'm on a role guys.

What can anyone tell me about this.

It is a creamy substance around the top of the strainer.

Need I be concerned here?

Do I need to add an aditive to the fuel? which I have "911".

Do I need to drain the fuel tank?

Can I just clean this off and put it back?

Leave it as-is?

Be Very Concerned?

Or just clean off and check primary fuel filter and possibly replace filter?

Gee, I guess today is the day to get some work done with the weather changing.

Thanks All,

Has this just shown up? did you have #2 diesel in the tank over the winter? You may want to take the lift pump out of the tank and clean the pick up screen and impeller housing.

It was like that when I picked the truck up back in January.

I think there is actually less now than there was back in January.

Seems to only be on the top edge near the tank cover.

There seems to be nothing down low when I pull up the strainer up.

Regards,
