Which circuit are you working on.

The wiring diagrams show the wire sizes. You have to look at the first few pages of the Troubleshooting section to find the legend.

Also the black plastic barrel connectors have the fusible link wire size molded into them.

Ok the fuse goes to the firewall on drivers side. Than goes to the 2nd battery (24v). The barrel you are refering to melted when it cought on fire. I cut a section that wasn't burnt. Took the wire to napa. And seems its 10 guage.

If it connects to the negative post of the rear batter, it is the 12v feed wire for the trucks 12v system.

The wire color should be blue and size 3, which is 12 gauge. It is protecting a 8 gauge wire.

Fusible links should always be 4 gauges smaller than the wire it is protecting.

Ok gonna try this 1 last time. Had to take a photo from my phone. Than try to forward it with no luck. Tried to forward to email with no luck. Took about four try's. No luck with computer so now going to try with the iPad. Here if it works is 3 shots of the bad wire and the battery.:gimp2: grrr won't let me. Can I forward to someone so they can post it please?
