I've seen a few inside the US. I've heard some bad stories about how they break down frequently, are hard to repair/fix because stuff is in hard to get palces-true, or not? Perhaps someone can comment.

First, they are all 40+ years old and very well used when they were surplused. Second, during that 40+ years, they were serviced by conscripts who could not have cared less. So, they are usually very worn out already. Being the nature of most armor, they are hard to work on as far as access, but not the worst. I think a CVR(W) Fox get that award. Parts are a real problem. Not many spares have appeared in the US or UK.
