I am building an enclosure for my Mep 903.
This unit is a little loud with out an enclosure due to the kobuta running at 3600 rpm.
The unit is going to be mounted to the frame of my truck.
The wood decked bed will make of the roof of the enclosure.
The truck frame and bed sub frame will make up about half of the back.
The rest of the back and the bottom will be enclosed in 16ga sheetmental.
The front will consist of a pair of metal doors.
The right side is the radiator and the left side will be a louvered panel for air intake.
Right now I am planning on insulating the doors, bottom and lower portion of the back.
Should I insulate the rest of the back and the roof?
What should I use for the insulation.
I have been looking at the under hood products from
DB Engineering
Fat Mat
Dyna Mat
Lizard Skin
Each company claims there product is better.
Is there any actual comparison between the products?
What do I need to do to quiiet this generator down?
