I drove my Deuce in the Georgia Mountain Fair Parade on Saturday July 24 in Hiawassee, Georgia. The parade lasted an hour and a half and the temperature was VERY hot. Although the fair is timed with the start of the Georgia Mountain Fair, it is mostly a delayed July 4th parade. We had a great amount of fun and people were very interested in the Deuce as you can see from the short video below. My Deuce was the only MV in the parade. I pulled my new M149A2 water buffalo behind the Deuce. People were screaming and applauding as the Deuce went by. I had three kids ask me where the nearest Army recruiter was located after the parade, so I think the parade generated a lot of patriotic feelings. I'll definitely be in the parade again next year.

Nice looking truck Gary. Quick question, is the tank on the water buffalo single wall ?
It's double wall. The inner is stainless steel, 400 gallons. You can tell the stainless tanks by the fact that they are round. The fiberglass tanks are oval shaped. I understand that all M149A2s are stainless and that the M149A1s are fibreglass. I think the original M149s were all aluminum.

from the posts above, sounds like you guys should start a club and/or have a website so all y'all can communicate on stuff going on in your region and coordinate on that stuff. just my two cents.

I just found out that the U.S. Army got credit for my Deuce in the parade! I didn't hear it, but apparently the local radio station and cable TV informed everyone that my Deuce was actually from the Army. Maybe it was my OD MVPA shirt I was wearing!
