GET BENT

hers a pic of a front end i bought for my mud truck. even though its trashed, i only paid $250 for it and theres 3 time that much money in spare parts on it. i dismantled it the other night, the housing was bent so much that the axle wouldnt even pop out with a pry bar. i had to torch cut the housing to remove it. it was also bent upwards. the thing had a bow to it like a smiley face. it looks to me like a truck was dropped from a crane and hit the ground on an angle on the wheel.

recentered wheels i made. it rolled in to the garage on these, the funny part was that there was no binding whatsoever

i got this diff in a crate. the surplus guy said it was rebuilt. it had clean oil and brand new brakes, drums, and wheel cylinders on it. the cylinders even had the little plastic plugs in them still. i got it so cheap because he thought it had the repezza type axles in it. i got it home and found out hat it had the u-joint axles inside.<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_headbanger.gif" alt="Headbanger">

Dang Mike, somebody whacked the crap out of that one!! You gotta be doing something serious with large tires to tweak one of those housings.

I broke a CUCV 10 bolt in half once:

The tires weren't meant to stuff up this far on both sides at the same time<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_blush.gif" alt="Blush">:

Sweet huh? I think a Rockwell could have handled the rock a little better.

nice job on the 10 bolt, almost looks like some kind of IFS suspension with the wheel tucked like that
