Glove box

I am in need of a glove box with the plastic hinge still in tact or a solution to fix mine.

Mine is still functional but I only have about two inches left of the "hinge"

Or, you can do what I did. Mine was broken at the hinge as well. I went to Lowe's and got a 30" piece of piano hinge (labeled "continuous hinge". I cut it down to size, then riveted one side to the plastic of the glove box, then used sheet metal screws to attach it to the dash. All told, I think it cost me about $10. And, I guarantee its never going to break... I'll go take some pictures of it and post them up.

I did a hurried repair on a couple trucks over the years. I attach a piece of latigo leather for the hinge. Works good.
