Glow plug controller question OE parts hq?

anyone heard or done buesness with oe parts hq? they have a glow plug controller for 90 dollars is it worth it? ACDelco 212-367 Glow Plug Controller Kit~1985 CHEVROLET K30 PICKUP 6.2L

btw anyone know where else i can get one ?

Civy cards are not the same.

That controler is for a civilian truck and will not work with the CUCV system witout alot of mods.

Saturn Surplus and FrontLine have had new cards in the past.

the picture shows a 6.2-6.5 civilian glow plug relay, i have seen them on 91-93 6.2 diesels.

Does the LED indicate when the glow plugs are energized?

Did you do your own traces or did you had a shop make a batch?

Yes, the LED indicates when the GP relay should be closed.

They use amb air temp.
I used them and will work with cucv only in 12 Volt config.
If it is between manual button switch and the controler I convert it in a hart beat.
I mess with them for use diesel gen sets to pre heat to start engine with timer and never had any problem at all and my 86 M1008 has one and it starts no problem at all.
