ok im having all sorts of trouble with my 1986 cucv 1008 glow plugs. I have searched everywhere and cant find the anwser. I bought the truck at auction and the glow plug light has never come on in the two months ive had it. Up till now it didnt matter warm enough to start without them. Now its colder and wont start without starting fluid. I have tried putting a bypass switch in(running a ground through a manual switch and the top post of the relay) and the glow plug light comes on but still no power to the glow plugs and I dont hear the clicking of the relay. I tested the new glow plugs before putting them in and they tested good. Anyone have any ideas on what to do next cause im at wits end.
