Going to attempt to paint the M1009

I've got all the paint, reducer, filters, etc etc etc....what I don't have is the paint gun! Any suggestions on what to use? cannister, siphon fed, hvlp, ? nozzle size, what type of in line water filter, regulator? I'm totally a noob when it comes to this!

I got the cheap one from car quest. the $50.00 can type.
