Hi guys,
I'm looking at the wiring diagrams, and wondering where the best place in the cab to patch in a 12V & 24V circuit is? I'm wanting to add a 12V backup camera, and a 24V rooftop search light. I just have a base M1078 (e.g. no winch, cab strobe, etc.), though I do have a [radio?] cable laying on the passenger side dash, and two similar cables behind the passenger seat, if I could make a mating connector for those?

Under the power panel there are bolts that correspond with the left 12 24 and gnd posts. They are live all the time so be careful. You can use a ring connector and come off with a fusible link. If you want switched power you can tap into a switched circuit and use to control a relay to switch it.

Don't pull any significant power off of just 1 battery to get 12v. It will unbalance the discharge levels and put excessive current through the other battery.

GET A CONVERTER. They aren't as expensive as a battery replacement will be and you can put a lot of other stuff on it.

Yo hI've searched with The tester and there is current of 12v, if you have a niehoff dual voltage alternator I understand that the truck has to accept it
