Got my Brownies.

Got my Brownies from Pete and Sherial for my help on a recovery and he also bought my truck. Had to have a ride home from his place so we loaded up Blazer so I don't have to ride the short bus home. Thanks Pete now this poor boy can eat good tonight.

Got back to my yard and unloaded with the 1009. Got a little overheated, but have recovered now. Thanx for your help, also.

I have to return the Brownies dam. I left out this morning with the truck and blazer headed to Pete's. Got the red light at the scales on 75 and got a little worried. My tag is for 31550 GVW so after about 30 seconds I got the green light and with a smile off to Pete's again. Everything going great till about 50 miles from Pete's place I smell that sweet smell and see the Temp. gage climbing. Crap not now not today. I took my foot off the throttle and started looking for a landing strip. O sweet Jesus only 1/2 mile to a rest area. Took the truck out of gear and shut off the motor and some how some way I was able to just have enough speed to make it to the truck parking rest area. Nice. OK put my tail between my legs and called Pete. Think I woke him from his nap but he did say he might come get me if I return the Brownies. I promised him I would so about 1 1/4 hours Pete showed up with his nice M915 tow bar and everything need to tow me to his place. I lost the water pump belt so Pete took me to the parts place and we replaced the belt fixed the truck unloaded the blazer and I headed home from a long day. Thanks Pete and you Brownies are in the mail, hope they make it.
