Trying to obtain all the information I need to request an SF97 so I can register my M931A2 in WI. I am new to this type of truck. I noticed on one dash data plate that this tractor weighs 20,100 lbs empty so I have that part. The SF97 request form also asks for GVWR and it is not stated on this truck. Anyone know what the GVWR number is for this tractor?

The SF97 also asks for vehicle Color. Will I run in to trouble later if I put "Camouflage" on this form even though it contains brown, green and black colors? What is the technical name for this color scheme used by the military? Not sure how particular the WI DMV will be on this. Trying to get an idea what others have used that worked in the past.

I am planning to pull some trailers or boat once in a while with it on the farm or in parades using the pintle hitch or a 2 1/2" receiver but otherwise I am looking to register it as a Historic Vehicle in WI if that matters any. The most I might pull with it is it's max rated capacity with I believe was 37,500lbs as listed on the dash data plate.

By the book, the M931A2 GVWR is 34895 lbs. The data plate in your vehicle may say different. Either way, it should be curb weight + payload capacity(15000 lbs).

For color, I have always just put green when I was requesting the SF97, but its never mattered to me, as Arizona titles do not record color. Your state may be different.

I can't provide any info about how you should register it in your state and would caution you that people from other states where rules are different may provide advice that will not be relevant to your situation.
