Do you want to use a radio in your MV have that cool PRC working and someone answering back or Joining Military Affiliate Radio Service MARS ,

Michigan Hams I going to setup classes for Tech then General

the Tech offers UHF Microwave and VHF + very little use of Military hardware

Gen gets ya Great use of the hardware on the HF band

Other cool stuff , Send video over radio , Images , or GPS tracking " APRS "

there is NO moses code for the license you do not have to take both classes

Tech is a standalone

Gen - must have the tech passes with in one year

Great to see this kind of intrest in 2 great hobies.
I got my license around 15 years before my first MV.
My MVs out number my radios by about 10 to 1...

It is really great you are helping by offering help to those who want to get their ticket.

W2WHT amateur extra VE and God knows whatelse emcomm, Nims etc with more radios that MVs and working to level the balance.

If I were closer I would be happy to help but its just to far to travel.
