Has anybody towed a M998 with a large wrecker?

Need to pick up a M998 in GA. I also need to tow a propane truck down which is going to require a 25-ton wrecker. I was hoping to tow the one truck down and pick up the other one.

However, I'm not sure the pickup platform on the 25-ton wrecking will work for the M998. Typically, the wreckers platform slides under the front and picks up big trucks by the front axle.

But I'm not sure there is anything under a M998 to lift and tow safely with? Has anybody tried?

Thanks.

You should be able to lift it from the front crossmember since it's nice and square. You'll want to disconnect the rear driveshaft from the 3rd member though.

I can't answer your question about the wrecker and lift points, but another option is renting a U-Haul vehicle dolly and trailering the M998 back with the wrecker. I've seen a number of threads on here that point out a U-Haul vehicle dolly that is _just_ large enough.

We have RGN's if the tow truck route doesn't work. The truck I'm towing down doesn't run just trying to save hassle of dragging it on and off the trailer if I could help it.

Thanks

For anybody else, ended up taking an RGN. The place that loaded had a wrecker with a lift that cradled the tires. I wouldn't put a big wrecker up under the bottom.
