Has Iraqi Hezbollah Acquired an American M1A1 tank?

My unit was tasked with training the Iraq Army on the M1's in 06-08. We trained them on how to operate and repair.

Most of those things haven't been secrets for quite awhile. The things we want to remain secret are generally excluded in the export versions. Egypt made 1000+ M1 tanks under license, so foreign governments have access.

"Monkey Model" export versions; don't have the proprietary armor package nor fire control systems as ours do.

Just send a couple of squadrons of A-10's over with US pilots to Saudi Arabia or even Israel, the M1 A1 issue will be over in a day or two thereafter!
