Head gasket oil leak

I am currently working on my 9th cucv. This unit has a oil leak from the head gasket on the drivers side. I have put approx 6000 miles on it since I got it running last Sept. there is no water leaking into the oil and no oil getting into the water. I can see where the leak is just above where the oil lines pass the head. Oil pressure is great and it only leaks when I shut down the motor, it leaves a spot the size a computer mouse on the drive way. My question: can I just pull the head on that side replace the gasket or do I need to pull both heads get them machined and then replace them.

thanks
Chuck
