Hey guys, new to SS, but not to forums.

I’m wanting to get a m1078 and have been looking, reading, researching and combing the web for info. That’s what landed me here.

Being new, is there anyone here than I can send links to items for sale, and receive feedback on value of the trucks in question?

If it were Offroad related, I’m current on values of parts and rigs etc, but stepping into this domain, I have no context on accurate values.

At the same time, I’m hesitant to publicly post some of these as I don’t want to get a deal scooped out from under me while I’m trying to pull the trigger on one.

The members on here are NOT the type (S) that 'Go behind your back', They are however, willing and (More then able/capable) Of vetting a prospective purchase for you.
Even to the point of, If near to the acquisition checking it out and reporting on it.
However, Firstly I would seek the help advice and guidance of someone in your area with a similar type of vehicle.
Take a walk around, listen to the advice offered, perhaps try out the vehicle.
Also try to attend an event where the type of vehicle is shown.With the "Owner" you met up with?.

No one locally has any of the newer stuff.

My NC-ANG buddy is working on getting me in touch with a couple guys that should be able to get me access to one to check out.

Next meet I’ve seen in my area looks to be @ end of April. Hoping to already have purchased one by that time.
