Hello everyone. My names Andy and I just joined. I own an offroad and diesel shop here in Montrose, CO. I have lurked for years and finally have my own M1009 which i have been wanting for decades. I picked it up a few weeks ago. She sat for over 25 years and is a bit rough, but im not scared of a challenge. Im in the process of sorting out the electrical system and trying to bring her back to life. I plan on documenting the process on our youtube channel.

I do have a question for yall. Im working on trying to identify where this ol girl came from. I got some acetone and wiped off the spray paint that was covering the ID numbers on the front and rear bumper, but I dont know how to decode them.

Id love to pick your brains.

Thank you20241213_145618.jpg

Welcome to the Outfit!

Might be useful to download some TM's (Technical Manuals) to sort out the wiring.
