"But officer, Lance said it was mandatory" (as New Yorks Finest methodically apply the Cocobolo shampoo to my head).Welcome aboard. There's been a change in the rules. Did you know it's mandatory to pull that M105 through lower Manhattan during rush hour with a Yugo as the tow vehicle?

The tongue weight (and total weight) on these trailers will be a bit much for a dakota... you might want to add extra springs and drive ! really ! carefully as your braking distance will be significantly longer. And set your pintle as high as it can go.Its going home behind a Dakota, then I suspect I'll be doing the same thing as you
I'm weighing (ha ha) my options (extra leaf springs, maybe air shocks or bags). I think I'll have a bit of time to do any necessary mods (I just submitted the EUC).The tongue weight (and total weight) on these trailers will be a bit much for a dakota... you might want to add extra springs and drive ! really ! carefully as your braking distance will be significantly longer. The best thing to tow the M105 with is a deuce !!!
Also get yourself a cheap set of magnetic trailer lights from Harbor Freight (or Napa/Pep Boys/etc.).
