that's a sling for pulling power packs from a track vehicle. we didn't do much work on tracks, but from the looks of it, i think it's too big for a 113, and i doubt it's for an m1 or 88. i'd put a dollar on AVLB or m9 ACE. just a guess :)

The M1 uses a little (sizewise) gas turbine engine with a large final drive attached.
M88 and AVLB both use a big honking Continental diesel (with minor variations).
The M9 has a Cummins V8
The M113 has a V6 Detroit
