Good site ya'll got here. I've just decided to purchase a duece. I think I'm going to get it from Government Liquidators. How ever, I have some questions. Since I'm military, can I go to the base and just pick it up. Or do I have to have it hualed off? What all do I need to do on my part to make this a smooth operation. I hate to go into something unprepared. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Second, What service. I am in the Coast Guard
Third, I have gone on base looking at the trucks in the Gl site. It usually depends on the site policy. The Warner Robbins site just says bring your paid in full invoice and they do not care, how you get it off site.

Im in the Navy. Up here in VA. That's cool about the Warner Robins Site. That's my home town. Got a buddy who can store just about what ever I want to. What about the Mechanicsburg/ville PA. Any info on that place.

Heres a question. Would it be better my first time out to purchase one from someone else. Verse trying to get one off the Gov.

Buying from the govt can be a crap shoot, you never know unlees you have previewed it.
My first one I bought from a guy on site he was very patient with my dumb questions. That is the route I would go first.

That's what I did and I'm glad I did. That way you can get familar with the truck and know what you're getting into. I also started buying small items on GL before I bid on big ticket items such as trucks. GL can be a pain for first time buyers that don't know what to expect. Read and understand all of GL's terms and conditions before you even think about bidding. Once you get used to the way GL works it's not that bad but it's their way or no way so you've got to know how to work with them.
