Hi,
I am a new member and I am looking at a Deuce and a Half multi-fuel Continental LDT-465-1C (whistler) in Colorado Springs, Colorado This
Sunday, 12/15/13 that I would like to buy.
I have not driven or have any experience with these trucks except what I
have read on SS.
I have a M105 trailer and do most of my own work on my gas vehicles.
I wonder if there is someone familiar with these trucks in that area that I can hire to do a pre-buy inspection and long test drive.
I know this is short notice, but I did not think to try posting until tonight.
I hope this is in the right place.
Thank you for any help or advice. I have searched and read several posts on checking out vehicles.

Swamp fox,
welcome to the site, hopefully someone local can give you a hand.
If not , take it for a ride. Look for and at the obvious stuff. MMechanical stuff is all the same, look for leaks, shakes, rattles, inoperative equipment, and worn out stuff.
These trucks are very simple in nature, easy to maintain with the correct tools and parts.
You have been warned, you get green in your blood and get hooked, don't blame us.
Keep us updated and take some pictures.

Welcome aboard! Take your time, hopefully someone from that area will chime in. Might put down a deposit to hold truck, till someone could go with ya? NDT are NOT the tire of choice for ice or snow! LOL

God bless,
Tony
