Not sure if this is the right place, but I would like to bring this to your attention and it might be of special interest to those in the Toronto region.
I am spending some days in Newcastle, close to Toronto, in the Durham - Clarington area. Was talking with some officials and was invited to attended the unveiling of the Highway of Heroes Durham LAV monument on Saturday 24 September.
This is in honor of those fallen in Afghanistan, including two soldiers from this region.
They also promised to help me get a tour through the Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum that day.
