I just had a miscellaneous equipment pickup handled for me at Holloman AFB in New Mexico. I turned it over to the Shipping Store in Alamogordo, NM ( 575-437-7447) who picked the shipment up, palletized it, wrapped it and shipped it to me via LTL. Joe Ferguson handled everything. They did an absolutely excellent job and will apparently handle virtually anything. The freight cost was much lower than I was able to negotiate on my own and they stored the shipment for two weeks at their location at no charge. He was even able to arrange for pickup outside the "window" without difficulty. He also provided a lot of very good input on the condition of the pieces in the lot at no charge. Tom with GL at Holloman was also very good. I have never had a pickup handled by a 3rd party go this well before.
