I now have an S250 shelter to go into my M1028A2 dually pick-up. Soon it will be painted and ready for installation. But, how do I install it? It has 4 short chains hanging from the top 4 corners and 4 small clevis rings on the 4 bottom corners.

I haven't found anything about installation kits.

How do I install it in my truck?

Thanks,

Steve

There are 4 steel cables equipped with hooks on each end, and a turnbuckle. These cables connect the top rings on your 250 to the shelter tiedowns on your truck. PM me if you need the cable/hook/turnbuckle assys.

Hey that is a nice truck you have there Corvette9. I used to have a truck like that but yours in much nicer than mine.116.jpg113.jpg115.jpgMine. Well lets just say it ran fine and drove well. But it was worked hard for 19 years and well maintained. It was a real fixer upper when I sold it. I hope the new owner is enjoying it. He should have a matching M1009 to park beside it. ;)

I do have several sets of the M1028 tie downs for the truck beds. Just thought I would mention that. Happy Holidays.

Not real good images but we had TRC-170V3s and other shelters tied down like this but with the cable turnbuckles not chains in this fashion.

Got it Mounted

Since I started this thread and found the information useful, I thought you might like to see how it turned out. Here is my M1028A2 Truck, S250/G Shelter and M101A2 Trailer.
