Do you have to remove the Bolt under alternator?? I tried twisting can with an oil filter wrench but couldnt get it to unscrew.

You need a 15/16 open end wrench to hold the nut on the top of the filter housing and then have someone hold the lower casing while you push on the wrench. It's a bear the first time. But after some work it's much easier to change the second time.
