How to visual I.D. a C turbo

Ok, I'm guessing this was asked before, but I'll do it again.

Is there any way to visual ID a C turbo? Are they more likely on a white. continental, hercules.

Does build date make a diff? Or is it all luck of the draw?

Please enlighten a Duece newbie

C turbo has a narrow snail shaped exhaust housing and the D is a thick housing.

D

1st is C turbo, and 2nd is a D turbo. As for what they came on I think it is a crapshoot. No definate to which they come on.
