I see nothing in my Closed Watchlist

I added a bunch of items to my watchlist on the 12th, the auctions closed on the 15th. The goal of the exercise was to see what these trucks (M35A3, a few 5 tons) go for. Now I see nothing in my "Closed Watchlist" and have no clue what these trucks went for, WTF?

You actually need to place a bid on the item to see what the final selling bid was. Unless you bid, the watched items will disappear after the close of the auction. I typically put a low bid on any watched item I am interested in to see what it sells for

I put the Items on my watch list and then Keep on line when the closing time comes as Chief 919 said its not always the final price but its close ...For the real price you can hit bid now and you know what it is at the time ......Good luck ....Also remember to add the 10%yard fees and sales tax to it to ....

If you go to the very bottom of the GL pages you will see some links in small print, one is "past bid results". It takes a day or 2 to show up (I think they have to send out the notifications first) but you can look up sale numbers and look for the lots your wanting to know about. I've found out that most items requiring an EUC dont show up on closed watch lists.

Just remember to write down the sale # and lot#'s. I burn thru quite a few post-it-notes now.

You have to print it out before the auction closes. After the auction closes there is nothing to "watch" because it has been sold. If you had printed it, you could go to "past bid results" the next day and see what they sold for.

I had the same problem when I joined GL and I sent them an email about it and if I remember correctly, they told me auctions that needed an EUC wouldnt show up in closed auctions unless I had bid on them. Regular auctions not requiring the EUC would be saved. For what its worth...

You can try this, it works on most auction sites but not on GSA. Go to the item you are interested in, add it to your favorites (I have a folder called 'aution saves'.) Most sites disable the link to a page after the auction ends, but the page is still there. If you saved it, you have. I have NOT done this with GL, but it wouldn't take much for someone to try it. Have a wonderful day. Just my 2¢.
