Hi guys…

I am usually active on the CUCV side of the forum, but I was just given an old bulldozer and realized this afternoon that it was most likely in World War II.

Is there a forum for old construction equipment in steel soldiers?

Could be. I have a WWII TD18 and it does not have any military data plates on it at all. It has the exact same serial number plate. You might have to look for evidence of olive drab paint under panels or places where the usual paint jobs would not cover. Mine also has USA registration number painted on the hood. Maybe your is under many layers of paint.

Is there a site within Tapatalk for old machinery like this?

I need someone’s guidance on how to load and move this machine back to my place.

This is not real simple. First you will need to raise the blade using hydraulic jacks and chain it up somehow. Next, make sure the transmission is in neutral and track brakes released. Then with a powerful tractor or truck, attempt to get it to roll freely. Next, hire someone with a Landoll or similar winch equipped equipment trailer to move it for you. I think it weighs around 25,000 lbs. Internet forum for this type of thing is Red Power
