Inner Windshield Gaps/Leaks Gasket Tip

I recently bought a used inner windshield to replace a rusty one on the truck. After I installed it I noticed a larger than normal gap around the frame. After taking several comparison measurements I discovered that someone had installed the rubber gasket around the frame backwards. The gasket will go on either way, make sure when you replace the rubber seal that the lower corner folds "hi point" are facing out, it looks backwards but is not. When installing the seal use plenty of liquid soap or similar lube and it goes pretty smooth. I know alot of trucks have a big gap and leaks so this may be the problem. Saturn has NOS gaskets for $12.50, this makes a huge difference in sealing.
