Installing cowl seal

I am looking for information on the correct position of the foam cowl sealwhich goes between the cowl and the windshield frame. I know the seal is glued on the bottom of the frame but I do not know if it goes in the center, toward the front edge or toward the rear edge of the lower frame. The seal is not flat on one side and the TM drawing shows the lip side toward the cowl but does not say where on the bottom of the windshield frame in is positioned. Anyone have that info?

Mine was in the center. Don't have a picture though but I did recently have the wind shield down
