Wanted to share a quick story about insuring an M925A2 for legal road usage in MI. After being declined by several companies due to their not knowing what type of vehicle, or saying they don't insure those types of vehicles, or my driving record not being stellar (average one ticket per year), I am happy to feedback that State Farm was very knowledgeable about the BMY, and even had it in their books with a new value of $88,000 without me saying so. Rate is $250/6 months under a commercial policy for liability only, for recreational personal usage. Can not have more than 1 ticket in the last 18 months, or 2 in the past 36 months (their commercial rues). I just met that window, barely.

I am not marketing for them over other companies, but they were the only ones between Gulfway, Heritage, Arlington, and another (sorry I forgot their name) which offered it, and made it happen easily. They chose the truck style as a stake truck with removable sides. The vehicle description is BMY, model M925A2, and I submitted photos and the accurate title. I did not want to try to fly under the radar and list it as a Jeep station wagon, due to how much attention this vehicle draws on the road, and imagining myself standing in court trying to explain something that wasn't.
