The important thing to note is the difference in internal resistance between standard wet cell and AGM.s thats why AGM’s put a far greater load(nearly double) on the alt During bulk charging.

The reasons they give for deficit charging are spot on, but they missed a solution. Reduce/properly size the battery bank to match the alternator:)…
