Hello, I am a new member desert storm vet. Just purchased my first pair or 802a's. One 10hrs new one with 1100. First impression cut connector on the machine wiring side of the fuel solenoid. Any folks in MS, LA area into these interested in workshops please reach out. The work begins. Pleasure to meet you all.

Thank you very much, I will be reading all the manuals. The two sets have the fuse upgrade but not the mov. I have the diodes ordered. I read something in here about ensuring the correct direction (pathway) for the diode. Is it right to left or vice versa? This may be in the documents I have to read so pardon if so. Just wanted to get that mov in there before initial start up test then see what if any issues I have before the really digging into a full pmcs.

Which Diode(s) are you referring to?
The MOV does not have a "polarity" so it can be installed either way.

The diode i was thinking about was the one on the ac interrupter switch.

Look at the schematic. It shows the polarity. Its on the set door.
