IP Shutoff; my diesel is dieseling

I finally got my 97 form for a truck I bought this fall. It takes several seconds for engine to shut off after turning off key. I noticed this when I first got the truck, but it seems to have gotten worse . Is the whole IP going, or is this a seperatable issue? Have had many 6.2 s, but this problem is a first for me. Truck runs fine otherwise.

It would sound to me like the shutoff solenoid is sticking some.

Other possibility is, you have some air in the system... they do strange things then...
