Is there a difference in canvas cab covers?

Hi all, I'm not positive of the answer to this, so thought I'd ask it here.

Do all Deuce canvas cab frames have center support bows, or was there an older version without them? If there are two versions of the frame, is there any difference in the canvas for the different types.

Thanks for any input. I've just not been around them enough to know.

From 1951 until the 80s there were no center support bows. Those seemed to come about with the insulated tops.

Thanks @NDT . I thought that might be the case. I wasn't aware that coincided with the insulated tops.

Any idea if the canvas itself is a different size? Like, was the newer canvas that went with the center bows sized to take into account the bows? I have my eye on a canvas top at SECO, but he doesn't know if there is any difference. Figured if anyone knew, it would be here.

I have never used the center bows with a canvas top, but since they are removable, if the little bows push up too much, just take them off. All the tops are intended to fit the 2 1/2 and 5 ton pattern trucks. SECO is a great supplier, they are legendary in the army truck business.

Didn’t realize they didn’t have a center bow. Mine doesn’t but figured it was missing. Has the holes so I was going to bend one up out of some 1/4” round stock so water didn’t pool in the middle
