Is there a way to save a link to a post after finding it using search forum?

I recently searched the 5 Ton forum and found several posts that had exactly what I needed and was wondering if there was a way to save a link to the posts I found so that I could refer back to them? I've been using Internet Explorer's "Add to Favorite" so that I can refer back but maybe there is button or something that would save my search for me? Also, I clicked on Permalink in the post I find thinking maybe that does it but cannot tell what that did? I searched FAQ and this website on keywork Permalink but nothing came up. What is it? Thanks

Yes there is! Click on the thread tools link just above and to the right of the 1st post. Scroll down to the stick thread, click that and then click perform action. The thread will then be stuck to the top of that forum for you. Need to revisit it, just go to the appropriate forum and it will be at the top.

One can also subscribe to topics. But I'd suggest only subcribing to them with no emails. Then you can pull up your control panel and view all your topics.
