Is there supposed to be another piece to the air cleaner?

Mine. and others I have seen, seem to be missing the snorkel from the air cleaner. You can simply see into the air cleaner housing at the filter. Was a troublesome snorkel phased out?

I suspect that they didn't use the plastic intake tubing and resonator on the cucv's because of the dual batteries. There simply isn't enough room to use that stuff with the huge mil. spec batteries in the way.

the snorkel is used in a civilian 6.2.there is no room due to the rear battery.

THey didn't use snorkel just had the opening!
