Jeep ignition problem........

Not sure if I should be asking this on this forum, but I gotta start somewhere.....
Am restoring a Willys late 40's jeep CJ3A (not actually military I know)
Here's the problem.
Jeep runs with key straight up, and can also be removed, keeps runnig.
Also runs to right, can't remove.
Off to left, but can't remove.
This tells me when I remove key, ignotion is still on.
Are they lake this for a reason or is mine just screwed up??

well first of all your in the cckw page.... not the correct area. and I think you answered your own question. cylinder needs to be replaced.

You need a wiring guide... and the right forum. Google cj forum and post there.
