LOL? Seriously, you have two 12V batteries.... Use either one. If you use the rear battery, do NOT touch the vehicles together. Connect both cables directly on the battery terminals

I always use the front battery, closest to the radiator. I normally unhook the cables while the other car is cranking.

Are you actually hooking up a 12v winch?
