Just got a civi trailer on GL

Just had high bid on a civi trailer through GL.

Will GL require a registration and license plate on the trailer before I can haul it off base ? A tow with no plates wouldn't be legal, but I'd only move it 3 miles on asphalt, I can take my chances there.

Or if I load it on another legal trailer, I'd be good to go? Just trying to eliminate two trips, etc.

I picked up a M146 from FT. Meade 2 weeks ago. I did not put a tag on it. I guess it depends on the GL person.

Picked up a M103A3 at FT. Drum a month ago. The GL yard manager didn't even bat an eye that I didn't have a tag for the trailer. Just watch out for LEOs on the way home.
Good luck and just my 2cents

I always take off a tag from one of my other trailers if I want to be legal. But I've often towed trailers without plates. I hauled a tow dolly with a 26' M117 attached to it from Ashville, NC to NJ without any tags. I just made sure that all the lights worked. A lot of LEO's don't even question military vehicles.
